12/6 – Timothy De Prey, Victoria Vargas, and Nathan Croner

Timothy De Prey, pianist, is celebrating his 25th anniversary as principal accompanist for the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus. His newly released (as of yesterday) Holiday Anniversary CD is available in the Social Hall after today’s services. Timothy is also the Director of Individual Instruction at MacPhail Center for Music where he teaches piano to the very young beginners through advanced students and amateur adults.

Mezzo Soprano Victoria Vargas has sung across the country for several opera companies including the Opera Theater of Saint Louis, and is commonly seen on the mainstage at Minnesota Opera. She studied Opera at the Manhattan School of Music and currently serves on faculty at the MacPhail Center for Music and Carleton College.

Nathan Croner has been with the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus for six years where he recently performed the role of Harvey in Andrew Lippa’s I Am Harvey Milk. He has appeared in over 100 musicals at regional playhouses and off-Broadway, and played leading roles in the North American Tours of Brigadoon and Camelot. Locally, he has done productions with Artistry at Bloomington Center for the Arts.
