FAITH: the practice of devotion to the possible

Theme of March

The intention of the themed year is to help Unitarian Universalists build a robust spiritual and ethical vocabulary. The themes are points of departure for religious liberals seeking to think, speak and act theologically, prophetically and prayerfully. The themes reclaim religious language, casting old terms in a new key to deepen spiritual grounding and sharpen moral reasoning. Our theme packets are intentionally geared toward all ages to remind us that this is a life-long journey.

Tell a story about a time when you faithfully worked toward possibility.

  • What practices do/ could you engage in to devote yourself to the possible?
  • What restores you when you lose faith in the world, in others, or yourself?
