Your help is welcome for these primary roles:

Evening Shelter Host: from 5:30 – 8:30 pm each evening. Two volunteers are needed to greet shelter guests, play and read with teens and kids, converse with guests, and maintain a safe environment for all. Playing with the kids is especially fun! See the full job description

Overnight Shelter Host: from 8 pm to 7 am each night. Two volunteers are needed to help families settle in for the night and help put out a light breakfast the next morning. Each overnight host has a private room with a comfortable mattress (bring your own bedding). Your generosity in this role brings comfort and security to families who don’t have the privilege of knowing where they will sleep each night. See the full job description

All adult volunteers must have taken a Safe Congregations training within the last three years.

Whether or not you know which night(s) you are available to volunteer, you are now able to sign up to volunteer with Project Home by clicking here. You may choose a specific date, or you can just sign up. Please add your name and we will remind you later in August to choose a date to volunteer.

Move-in day is 8/30/19 and move-out is on 10/1/19. Your contribution to helping these families find a safe harbor at a difficult time is a wonderful way to live your values. Please consider volunteering.
