About Special Collections
WBUUC donates the entire offertory collection at least two Sundays a month to a nonprofit organization or cause chosen by the Social Action Committee. Over the last ten years WBUUC members have given away over $500,000.
Our Current Special Collection
The May 3rd collection will support the WBUUC Ministerial Discretionary Fund, which provides direct help to individuals and families facing financial hardship. The fund can assist with essentials like rent, utilities, food, car or home repairs, medical bills, and more. It is available to anyone in need experiencing difficult times. Rev. Jessica shared that requests for assistance have increased in recent months, making your support especially meaningful right now.
