Doctors Without Borders – November 19 – you can still help!

As fighting grinds on in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams continue to support the Ukrainian health care system by filling in the gaps that have been caused and intensified by the war. MSF teams are providing services in one of the few functioning hospitals in the region, treating trauma injuries from bombing, shelling and shrapnel. MSF teams also run mobile clinics in nearby villages, providing physical and mental health care services.

Additionally, as of September 2023, MSF medical evacuation trains have transferred almost 3,500 patients from the east to the west of Ukraine since the escalation of the war in 2022. (from Ukraine 2023 © Linda Nyholm/MSF)

This special collection will go to MSF to help address the great need for medical care in the war ravaged area of Ukraine.
